David Gluhaich is an adventurer, photographer, filmmaker, and entrepreneur from the Bay Area in California.

Being surrounded by California’s greatest landscapes both shaped him as an artist and continue to inspire him now. Whether it is the stone walls of Yosemite, the deep blue basin of Lake Tahoe, or the unrelenting coast and cliffs of Big Sur, he continues to find himself awestruck and in disbelief by everything the Mother Nature has to offer.

Gluhaich fell into photography at a young age and never gave it up. While it started as a passion, it has grown into a bigger outlet for him to create beautiful and timeless work that can hopefully help others find this same passion within themselves. His work balances between the realism and mythical that encompasses the natural world we live in by telling stories that are immersive to the viewer and illustrate the power of adventure and exploring.

In his work, Gluhaich explores perspective, both as a photographic element as well as a theme; how nature can provide a break of perspective in our modern, fast moving world and provide a grounding force. He hopes his work inspires others to seek this clarity through immersion in nature, even if it is just in your backyard or a park down the street.
